Welcome to SJP 2013!

Yesterday, PSJP welcomed 25 talented high school journalists from around the country for the 12th annual Princeton University Summer Journalism Program.
Discussion on the importance of diversity in newsrooms.
Our students were excited to dive into discussions about issues of diversity and representation in journalism, and received a warm welcome from University Vice President Bob Durkee.
On the campus tour.
Program coordinator Erica Gonzalez led the students on a tour of Princeton's beautiful campus. The group visited Princeton landmarks such as Nassau Hall, McCosh Hall, and the student center.

The students then participated in a discussion led by program director Richard Just on why the program exists. And after a long, packed day, they headed off for their first night sleeping in the Princeton dorms.

Stay tuned for more program updates!
